Comment: We were on our way to Burlington VT and took the NY roads up for expediency sake and crossed via the ferry. It’s a quick ride and we had beautiful weather for it.
Staff seemed blase but I’m sure the monotony of crossing back and forth can zap ones enthusiasm.
Still enjoyed the ride

Comment: A really nice and soothing ferry ride, very small distance and cost economic too. Get a great breeze of the lake and the sceneries from the two sides. Typically a great option in Fall if you are doing a cross state travel and need to go from New York to Vermont

Comment: Great ferry that runs every half hour from May to September.
It was 11.75 for two people and a large pickup (just under 19ft-over that is extra)
Views from the deck are hard to beat with the Green mountains in the east and Adirondack high peaks to the west.
I recommend getting out for the ride if it’s nice out-it’s a wonderful feeling to have the breeze off Lake Champlain in your hair (and you can look for Champ )

Comment: Awesome scenic ride with kids. Never waited more than 10 minutes. Definitely worth a trip across and if timed well it does save some drive time. Bathrooms on the ferry but no snacks/vending.

Comment: We have done this almost every year for over 30 years. Easy on and off with your car. Once on get out of the car and enjoy the view. Breath taking in autumn
