Comment: Very unsafe Captains. We anchored our boat in the General Anchorage in New London. We have had 2 ferries buzz by us within 30′. We have 30′ of bridal and 80′ of anchor chain. We were lucky they didn’t wrap our chain in their propellers and drag our boat into their stern. I spoke with the coast gaurd and verified that we were in the correct area to anchor. They said they have had lots of complaints about the ferry Captains.. they are not safe and are going to hurt someone eventually. I spoke to someone at their office and they said they would take care of it, but we got buzzed again a couple hours later.

Comment: The best of the best. The FINY Ferry crew works very hard year-round to deliver a no frills, efficient service, and in doing so puts up with a ton of wild personalities, bad attitudes, and frankly underappreciative privileged persons. All of this and taken in stride with plenty of good times. Thanks y’all!

Comment: I had made a mistake on which ticket to buy – not from around here. Purchased a silver eel ticket to fishers island and never went on- I never got ahold of the captain of silver eel to receive a refund of $106.
No one answered the phone or returned my voicemail. I called the number Leo at the front desk gave me 6x. Still no answer or return call.
