Comment: Very cool experience beautiful views good boat crew! Beautiful boat the snack bar was mediocre with food. The hot dogs where cold no chili or anything to put on them!
You did however get to drink some beer on the ride back which was pretty cool also stand at the front of the bow.
I highly recommend taking the ferry and visiting ft Sumter great experience!
We paid $71 for two people

Comment: Friendly staff, professional guides and boat crew. Boat offered a wide variety of snacks and drinks fairly priced. Lots of available seating options. Clear communication and lots of rich history.

Comment: We took the ferry from Mt. Pleasant and we loved it. We got our tickets early so we had plenty of time to explore the area and some of the missiles they had there. Great view of the USS Yorktown.
I was a little worried my 2- and 4-year old wouldn’t like the ferry ride but they had a great time. The ride was approximately 30 min. to the fort. We saw big boats on the way. They also had a snack bar on the ferry.
We got to stay 1h at Fort Sumter and the ferry left at exactly the time they planned to leave. On the way back we even got to see some dolphins jumping, what a great way to end the day.
I definitely recommend taking the ferry to Fort Sumter even though the price seems a little high but we only had to pay for us adults not the kids.
Great experience!

Comment: Walking onto a piece of American History is refreshing. This would be a good time to take children over 11.
It is a lot of walking, but helps you appreciate how much it takes physically and mentally to be in a ship or destroyer.
