Comment: I absolutely loved this!! Not sure why it has a bad reputation. Definitely park and walk on like I did. I waited at most 10 minutes standing in line with only one family in front of me. I got there 12:30 ish on a Sunday. It was so much fun. The people on the boat where having a good time. When you walk on you go to the top versus the bottom with the cars where everyone else is. No strange smells. Views were amazing. I just stayed on and rode back and forth but you could possibly continue to ride. I saw dolphins. And the seagulls were happy and putting on a show. I had much more fun that I could have imagined to have. Best thing it’s free. I definitely recommend for all ages. Friendly staff

Comment: I’m not sure if it’s this way all the time or not, but some of the associates are a little on the rude side, which is weird cause everywhere else, we had friendly service. That’s the only downside to the experience, besides waiting a bit of time to go across.
The ride was pretty nice, as you can get out of your vehicle to check out the scenery from the standard level or from the 2 upper levels.
But having had to wait so long to get onto the Ferry, you may have to relieve yourself, which they do have restrooms on the 2nd level.
Whether I refer this ride or not, you have no choice but to take the ride to get across.

Comment: Love taking the ferry over to Bolivar and back! Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait, but such a great way to entertain little ones for free! Thank you for the service! We actually saw several dolphins on our most recent trips! None are in the pics, though.

Comment: Can’t be free! Good views you can stand outside in the front or the back and watch the birds or the Dolphins or the ships and if you really want to, you could probably throw a person off if they sucked a lot but you would probably go to prison

Comment: this boat ride brought back so many childhood memories for me & im glad i got to allow my daughter to experience this ! very relaxing. we didn’t drive our car on we parked on the galveston side & walked on.
