Comment: My experience heading over was strange as I didn’t get on the ferry I was in the line up with one car in front of me. Then that car left and drove out I thought that was strange. Then the cars and people were honking at me waving at me to go!
Umm go where the staff had all boarded the ferry and the car that was in front of me was long gone! So I drove to the ferry. Well that was not what I was supposed to do. So by the time I got back to the till I was way behind and back to stand by traffic hoping I make the next ferry
Well I did make it on thank goodness. I come from Vancouver Island in BC and we don’t go around back to the till we just move forward in traffic.
No reservation fee so I highly recommend that and you only pay when leaving grand manan. I sat on the very top deck outside and had a great rest of my trip!

Comment: On time, affordable, and they have a fully functional canteen with pretty decent food. And they are smoking sections out on deck with butt cans. Coffee, and comfortable seating.
Has wifi, but the signal is pretty weak.
Definitely a nice ferry ride.

Comment: It’s a beautiful ferry ride. No fee to ride to the Island, you pay on your way back. There are 2 ships going. It’s about 2 hour crossing each way. You park in the bottom and move freely throughout the ship. There is a cafeteria style restaurant. You can hang out inside or on the top deck. Dress warm. It’s very windy on deck.
