Comment: It’s a very convenient and fast way to travel to Macau. Whilst there are several ports in Macau, the one to Macau’s Outer Ferry goes very frequently each day. It’s an hour trip.

Immigration lines are surprisingly quick on both Hongkong and Macau sides.

Its ferry jet is quite reasonably priced, return ticket to Hongkong is discounted.

But like planes, the economy seats are confining.

There’s a small service for drinks.

Comment: Took a ferry to Macau from here. Immigration was just 3-4 mins and staff was super friendly

Comment: I visited this ferry port twice—once on my way to Macau and again on the return trip—and unfortunately, I was left quite disappointed. While the ticketing line moved quickly and the ferries depart every 30 minutes, there were several issues that made the experience less than pleasant. The ticketing area is cramped and uncomfortably close to a bathroom, which isn’t a great setup. The boarding area is also tiny, and to top it off, the bathroom had no tissues, which was frustrating.

The worst part of my experience came when I returned from Macau. The terminal’s cramped layout made the process of disembarking downright dangerous. After getting off the ferry, we were funneled through a narrow path leading to a set of escalators that span several floors. The staff allowed everyone to head toward the escalators at once, which resulted in a bottleneck on each of the floors and creating a dangerous situation. Thankfully, there was just enough space on the platform for people to gather, preventing a human pile-up. However, the experience was terrifying-I found myself searching for the emergency stop buttons just in case.

I’m extremely disappointed with the staff for letting this happen. It would have been so easy to stagger the disembarkation, but instead, they created a situation that could have easily turned into a disaster. Because of this, I will never return to this ferry terminal. If I’m ever forced to use it again, I’ll stay on the ferry until everyone else has disembarked, just to avoid another dangerous scenario like this.

Comment: Every staffs are efficient as always, the ferry departs every half an hour, not busy on weekday. Little tips better take the turbo boat not the ordinary ferry if you have sea sick

Comment: Customer service personnel in suits are very helpful. There are free bus shuttles from ferry harbours to Venetian, Parisian, etc up till 8pm (check schedule for changes).
If you want a tour in Macau, bus around the Macau DONT accept octopus card but u may pay with HKD (no change).
1HKD = 1MOP so it’s generally accepted throughout Macau.

Be careful when going back to ferry from Venetian because bus ride after 8pm are much longer than the free bus rides. Give yourself about 2hours buffer to be safe.
Taxi go by meter.
