Comment: For commuters. If you want the scenic ride, or get sea sick, take Wally to Bremerton. This is quick, cheap, and easy, no frills, no outside deck, no galley serving beer. But 30 minutes to downtown Seattle can’t be beat.

Comment: Pricey but a great 30min ride. Takes only half as long as the bigger auto ferry. Not for the squeamish, the ride can be bumpy and you do feel all the waves. Roomy cabin, they do ask you to stay seated for the ride. Bathrooms located in the back of the cabin. Runs in the morning and again in the afternoon/evening, with no runs mid day. So pretty much commuter hours.

Comment: This was fun! A nice way to see some water view and get around fast. It’s pricey however but is worth doing at least once or so! It can get a bit crowded. These sources of transportation are very popular and can have long lines. Get there early so you make your boat ride.

Comment: I was there in 2015, so not sure if my experience is relative (or relevant) to the world’s current reality, but at that time, the ferry ticket price was fair for the experience. It was an essential tour around Seattle-area waterways, but if you are looking to acquaint yourself with Seattle real proper like, I recommend doing it on foot. This was more like a “taste” of the hotspots for a quick Seattle experience.
