Comment: The ferry terminal is small but it plays a big role in bringing in cruise ships (hence tourists) to enjoy and admire the surrounding fjords, and they are truly gorgeous. I took an organised tour of the fjords on a small old boat with a very charming and knowledgeable tour guide. What a wonderful experience which I highly recommend

Comment: Not in the best location as there is very little to do in the port, however if you want the hop on hop off bus tour it’s reasonably priced and you see all the major attractions, and if you go round the full tour it’s easy to assess the best places to actually get off for a walk before you just randomly choose somewhere you might not favour. It covers all the tourist places and the onboard talk has interesting tidbits of information and takes a full 90 minutes per circuit.
You can stroll around the docks but it’s not going to get you to town as that is some miles away. There is some interesting graffiti and a small wildlife area, but the cruise terminal shop seems permanently closed.
