Comment: I really enjoyed the ferry ride on Lahave river.
It’s a small route that they cover, if you are in a car than you need to sit inside it. We opened our car roof and windows to enjoy the cold breeze of air. The timings for the ferry is they operates 24 hrs,however after 11 pm you need to call them for the ferry travel. There is a board which states the ferry timing is between 10am -5pm which is a misleading information. Don’t trust it.
The ferry travel is free of cost. If you go over there is a route that will connect the bridge water bridge to the other side of ferry terminal.

Comment: It’s really needful service that the NS government has provided to the People who lives on both of the shores of this fairy route. It’s Completely free and it is available all days. Even if it’s not available you can call from a phone from both sides of dock platform to call it. Only time it’s not available if there is any storm or really bad weather to carry cars from both shores. So heads off to NS government great us of public tax money #nsgovenment

Comment: Was surprised to find that the ferry, which I think cost a few dollars in the past, was entirely free. Great way to get from the LaHave bakery and Lunenburg and v/v. Saves a ton of time versus driving all the way up the river!
