Comment: You can pick up weekend ferry to the outlying island of Tung Ping Chau from here. Two ferries leave on Saturday (9am and 3pm) and one ferry on Sunday (9am), a returning ferry arrives here around 6.3pm on both Saturday and Sunday from Tung Ping Chau.
Roundtrip tickets can be purchased by Octopus or correct payment of HK$90. The queue can be rather long. We arrived 45 minutes early and were around 25th in the queue for a Saturday morning sailing. By boarding time, the queue was very long, not sure if everyone was able to make the ferry or not. Would recommend arriving no less than 30 minutes prior to departure to make sure you don’t miss the ferry.

Comment: Great little ferry pier for visiting islands like Tap Mun (Grass Island) and Tung Ping Chau. Check online for sailing times, as this is a small pier that has very specific and minimal sailings. For example, Tung Ping Chau is only reachable on weekends and holidays and there are only 1-2 departures from Ma Liu Shui on those days.
