Comment: Lovely view of cute little houses. Took ard 15 mins to walk up to the monument. Try to go early otherwise the sunlight could be strong.

Comment: A deep experience, having read the history of this remarkable monument. Overlooking Guanajuato was breathtaking, evoking impressions of a miniature city with churches, many plazas, and miniature people walking in between. I highly recommend visiting Al Pípila. Take your time, this is México, time moves slower here than in the US or Canada.

Comment: “Monumento Al Pipila: We went up the statue using some narrow stairs. It was so much fun, and the view of Guanajuato was amazing. It was very stuffy and hot, but well worth it. They do charge to go inside the monument.”
