Comment: This was a blast — I love the little idiosyncrasies that we come across while traveling through BC. I know this is no novelty for born and bred BC but this is a real novelty for anyone growing up outside of BC. It’s worth putting this on your “to do” list if you’re able. Well worth the detour. I was getting out my wallet to pay up but it’s just part of the highway system in the Kootenays, again a refreshing surprise. Well maintained restrooms on either side of the lake as well. Well done BC.
