Comment: Daniella was amazing for our tour. She brought us through the local markets and told us so much about the local cuisine and cultures. Her knowledge was unbelievable. I would highly recommend to anyone to go on this tour and experience a side of Oaxaca many people could miss.

Comment: We were very fortunate to get a private tour with Betsy as there were no other sign-ups. This made the experience even more special and personal. Betsy is a wonderful personality who loves to share her knowledge about her hometown and food culture with you. For us, the tour was the best activity on our 3-week Mexico trip. We cannot recommend Betsy and the tour enough.

Comment: A fantastic introduction to Oaxacan gastronomy. Our host Betsy brought us to 3 different markets and shared with us ~10 different dishes and drinks. As someone who doesn’t speak the language, this was a great way to experience what locals here eat. Would highly recommend booking this tour!

Comment: I can’t rate Betsy and the Oaxaca Street Food Tour highly enough. It was a highlight of our time in Oaxaca and I tried tons of foods and markets that I might have never been confident enough to order from or go to, or would have totally missed – plus the history and context provided make the experience so much richer. The tour started in the organic market (adorable), then hit a few others as well as a cacao manufacturing location and lots of other misc stops along the way (including Betsy’s family’s food stall)! Betsy was the sweetest, loveliest guide with perfect English and tons of background knowledge to share. It’s also not a strenuous tour, with lots of breaks sitting at tables to enjoy foods between markets, so it should be manageable for anyone able to walk about 1-2 miles flat. This is THE best way to try the best of the best traditional dishes in Oaxaca, and all from women-led businesses! Please visit Betsy and tell your friends to do the same!
