Comment: Enjoyable journey midst of a long weekend, of course could not get our car on but we were lucky to get a golf cart to tour the island. The lady at the check in counter was super helpful and guided us to what we need to do and the time to be spent on each activity. The check in was super easy after their implementation of going cashless.

Comment: If you want to take your car to Pelee island, you’ll have to book early as it gets full quickly. Walk on ticklers are easy to get though. Snack bar was open when we went, offering coffee, and some cold drinks along with some snacks.

Comment: What a nice addition to our trip. Gentle ferry ride, friendly staff, decent prices at the “cafeteria”. Pelee Island is a must-see!

Comment: This ferry prioritizes drivers beyond everything. Pedestrians and cyclists are treated secondary and are last to get off the ferry. You must leave your bikes on the car deck, which is inaccessible during the trip. The bike racks are decent.
I was shocked at the lack of respect for people chosing active transportation for get around on an island with limited resources.

Comment: This Ferry service can take you to the Southernmost point in Canada. Unfortunately, the schedules for travelling with your car are very limited and its booked months ahead. If you want to go and come back the same day, you have to book 2 months in advance or plan on staying the night on the island. The island itself it quite big and walking on foot is a challenging task. You kinda need that car of yours to travel with you and need advance booking.
