Comment: Great place to go from the West Bank to the East Bank of the Mississippi River. The Ferry workers are kind,’and point where to go so there is no confusion during the process. Usually cost a dollar, but is free going from the west to the east. (Plaquemine-Baton Rouge). It is also free for disabled veterans.
I use this ferry during game days to cut my trip in half.

Comment: A laid back trip across the Mississippi River with a nice crew! The ferry is humble but strong and efficient. Great way to get across between Sunshine and Plaquemine. Go take a trip!
