Comment: As part of Seniors Week my sister and I went from Docklands to Portarlington. It was a lovely day out. We had lunch at the Grand Hotel, walked along the shopping strip and also the beach.
My only criticism is that the directions for tram travel on the 86 route gives the incorrect tram stop. It was only by asking locals at the end of the line at Docklands, that we found that the ferry departs from opposite Marvel Stadium and near the ‘cow up the tree’.

Comment: The ferry was 5-10minutes, the captain was very friendly. It costs $3 only, experience was amazing going under the beautiful West Gate Bridge ( it looks like Golden Gate )
