Comment: It’s a short ride in between the islands. We had mobile reception the whole journey. The vessel was clean and well managed. They even have a place for kids!

Comment: Do not visit the island for a day trip unless you plan to be able to spend the night in your car. There is no system to properly update people, no way to go get food or alternate accommodations unless you are willing to loose your space in line. The terminal doesn’t even have functioning vending machines or drinking water. Shame on the Newfoundland government to leave people stranded.

Comment: Got stuck in the Fogo islands without a ferry to come back. Always look for the ferry schedule before going. Staff were helpful though.

Comment: We were there at 7:30am to get the 8 or 8:30 ferries, but we missed those as there was a long lane of cars and trucks, and the next ferry arrived around 11:30 am. It was really frustrating to wait for the next ferry, and then the last one coming back from fogo island was 7:30 and we were afraid to miss that one so we came back around 3:30 and didn’t have enough time to visit the island. So, I think it is not a day trip plan if you really want to the island, as we could just visit Sandy cove beach which was really great.

Comment: Lol, I did not even see the ticket booth!!!! And went right by turning around. The attendant was very polite and laughed with me for being too eager to get on the ferry!!!
