Comment: Best ferry I’ve take so far. Easy booking and hassle free checkin. They even allowed us to take one ferry earlier as we had arrived early.
Terminal is great with food vending machines, enough seating area, charging points , free magazines and toilets.

Ferry has a cafe , food counter and store . Most seats have access to windows, front ones are the best.

Comment: RedJet and Red Funnel ferries are the go-to ways to travel between Southampton and Isle of Wight. Red Jet is faster while the ferry offers a more scenic mean. It takes about 40 minutes on the former whereas the ferry could take upwards of 1 hour. Seating is a lot more limited on the jet which travels more frequently carrying only passengers. The ferry has three decks for passengers and the lower level carries vehicles. Plenty of islanders travel to Southampton and beyond using this service. The top deck has viewing areas open to all aboard but the enclosed seating area (and amenities) is reserved for the first class passengers. There is an even more exclusive area, (probably named “Sun Terrace”) with a panoramic view. Walking around the top deck, one can enjoy the same view, more or less. As usual, souvenirs, food and drinks onboard both the ferry and the jet are more expensive than most shore based stores.

Comment: They are very prompt and apt service as a ferry between isle of wight and back from the coast. Plus they also offer a mini supermarket of snacks etc oj the deck. They have a highly optimised boarding and deboarding process and have the ship ready to go.on time everytime.

Comment: Travelled on Red Funnel Ferries for a day trip to the Isle of Wight. The boarding and alighting process was well managed. Staff were friendly and professional, and there were many amenities onboard with ample places to sit.
I was surprised at how spacious the car deck was, with plenty of room between vehicles to prevent any doors from getting dinked. Above all, the service time keeping was exemplary.
