Comment: We had an incredible adventure on this 4-hour journey across Lake Michigan. The weather was perfect, and the staff we interacted with onboard were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the fresh air of the open lake, played Bingo in the lounge, and enjoyed refreshments from the mini-cafeteria-style food service area. There are also staterooms available, if you happen to need a private space. It was a great way to not only avoid having to go through Chicago or around the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, but it was also fun! I highly recommend this activity. The bad news is that it only operates May through October.

Comment: First visit and brought our motorhome with no issues.
Accommodating staff who helped with free bingo and movies while others served up breakfast and lunch or snack options. Combo plates offered the best pricing.
Small museum on board which had some seating and quiet time for readers.
On this journey the USS Badger was smooth sailing. On and off quickly. Travel discounts for seniors.
Several have told us it’s on the bucket list, we’ll it’s time to just do it and enjoy the ferry ride across Lake Michigan.

Comment: Last week I took the Badger to WI today I took it back to MI. Due to an injury I decided to splurge and pay for a state room since the Dr said I need to keep my foot elevated. It was well worth the little extra money. I had my own window which opens, my own bathroom and a bed. I do enjoy being on deck so I wouldn’t get the state room every time but it was well worth it this time. I love how friendly and helpful all the staff are.

Comment: Great adventure across the lake! The staff was nice and helpful, and they had great food and drinks. plenty of things to do for kids of all ages. The ship is well kept and taken care of. you definitely get what you pay for, top-notch ferry service, and a great experience.

Comment: We unfortunately had a real windy day. I don’t usually get sea sick, but I was definitely feeling it on this ride. The bingo guy really made the trip! The crew members were very friendly and respectful. Ginger ale was provided thankfully and probably saved me from puking.
