Comment: I use this ferry 4x everyday for commute to the westbank. I really enjoy the ride it’s hardly ever too crowded leaving east bank. The service is great and the people who work on this ferry are very Friendly and make you feel welcome and comfortable. It’s only $1 to ride on also and that’s Amazing!!

Comment: The sign at ramp before getting let’s me know if the ferry is ” In Service” or “Not In Service” they have a Porta Potty there just In case while waiting on the ferry you have to use the “potty”. The landing is in good shape and clean also.

Comment: Convenient if the large ferry is in use; otherwise, you may have to wait for the next ferry. Many 18 wheelers and large trucks use this ferry so delays are common. Then you have to hope you do not catch the Belle Chasse bridge which causes massive traffic to ups. It is a mixed bag.
