Comment: It was fine. $52 for return ticket. 1h20m ride to Waiheke. Quick and easy check-in. Cafe on board. It wasn’t busy and plenty of seats were available even on a sunny Saturday. Charging ports available but no WiFi. I saw people buying tickets on the day at the counter, so pre-purchasing isn’t a must for foot passengers. Overall, pleasant experience.

Comment: Sea Link is always our favourite ferry company for services from Waiheke Island Kennedy Point Ferry Terminal to Half Moon bay Ferry Terminal.
The price of ferry ticket is NZD28 for adults. Students are entitled to a discount. Super Gold Card holders have free ferry rides after 9am every day.
Staff are all friendly and helpful.
I highly recommend you to take a ferry to Half Moon Bay if you live in East Auckland.

Comment: 26Dec23 1645 Boxing Day return trip to Half Moon Bay .. SeaLink arrived five minutes early for 5PM departure. Professional polite helpful crew boarded all walk-on passengers first, quickly and safely. Then .. the cars and a huge double articulated truck. 35 minutes we were walking off the deck onto Half Moon Bay soil. Great work SeaLink!

If you don’t have any car and missed the bus you can booking on Island taxis website, it’s not expensive and they are great
