Comment: Wow it’s like a step back in time. Major airlines fly into this airport but everything about this airport, including the parking areas and the terminal areas, is miniature compared to the airports I’m used to. I’ve flown out of the Atlanta airport and Detroit Metro many times. When I pulled up here to pick up my son, oh my gosh there were only eight cars lined up in front of the exit. At other airports it would be a fight to the death to get a spot, because there’d be 40 to 50 cars. It’s really great, it is SO not crowded, that you don’t have to show up 2 hours before your flight, or wait in long lines. However, I have a bad feeling it’s going to change very soon. Sioux Falls is growing so fast it reminds me of a gold rush town. They’re actually building a huge parking deck right next to the terminal so obviously they’re expanding pretty quickly.

Efficient in and out. Tsa precheck is not a must here, lines are generally small and spread out. I try to get there an hour and a half early. Nice little nooks and some decent food options. Staff is usually helpful and kind. Welcome to Sioux Falls! 🙂

Comment: Economy parking is 2.00 for up to 2 hours, pay when you leave. They have long term parking with a huge garage. There is a shuttle bus stop. I rarely fly but they have a restaurant, bar, car rental and pretty much anything you need.

Comment: Usually love flying out of FSD, but good grief are the women at the United check-in rude and incompetent. Literally the only issues I ever have here are with United and it’s always the Sioux Falls crew, not the flight crew.
