Comment: We arrived well ahead of the ship’s arrival as our checkout from the hotel was at 11 am. Stena’s staff was very accommodating and did early check-in with us so we were able to sit in the lounge and had access to toilets. The place was tidy and comfortable, which made waiting for departure more relaxing.

Comment: We ditched our flight to Machester and took the ferry, best decision. I personally haven’t been on a bigger ferry than Stena, so I was impressed. There’s a restaurant, duty free shopping, a bar, an arcade, slot machines, entertainment for kids, and a big screen TV to watch sports. We had a much better experience taking Stena over yet another flight as we took two flights from Calgary, Canada. We wish we could take one back home!

Comment: Really pleasant day trip as a foot passenger to Wales this July! Easy parking, check in, embarking and disembarking. Noted no cinema on the Adventurer on our way over. Particularly pleased with the clean, comfortable vibes on the Estrid on our way home! Kudos to Ian in restaurant services for a particularly professional and friendly service experience. All staff were welcoming & attentive. Not a lot to do in Holyhead itself but great rail links to other interesting places. All in all – a lovely day out for very reasonable prices!

Comment: Boarding was very straightforward, just park up the car and take the stairs or lift to level 7 for food. Seating was very comfortable and a nice breakfast. You can also go out on the deck of you smoke or just want some fresh air. As it was a night trip the bar was closed, but that wasn’t a issue. Dury free opened once we were at sea and reopened at 5:00AM. Staff were friendly and professional. All in all a very enjoyable trip across the irish sea.
