Comment: Went with Viking Grace 28-29 December 2023 and probably can’t find anything worse that goes from Stockholm to Finland.
When you get on the ship, no one from the crew greets you on board, then you have to stand and wait in the stairwell and wait for up to 40 minutes to reach your cabin. They open for boarding at 06:40 so enjoy an early morning with kids who want to sleep.
Once you have arrived at the breakfast buffet where logistics and order do not exist, there are queues everywhere and no one knows what you are queuing for. There is no marking of what is where, so it is more mobile than a chicken coop.
The beds in the cabin are the hardest in existence, think the floors were softer than the beds, so don’t count on a good night’s sleep until 5:32am because then there will be an unexpected surprise. Someone kicks open the door and shouts that it’s time to leave the cabin.
I fully understand that Viking Line wants to make money and wants to be punctual, but I had expected more than this in terms of service and quality of the beds.
