Comment: Amazing place! Really worth it to take a boat ride in the canyon and visit the viewpoints! Great to see spider monkeys and crocodiles

Comment: One of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen. This place belongs to the UNESCO world heritage. Seeing this place is breathtaking. I highly recommend to take the tour from San Cristobal de las Casas, a town located 1 hour away from here. If you are running with a low budget, hostel often offer better deals and packages than travel agencies

Comment: The views from the miradores are impeccable!! I usually travel through tourist attractions on my own but it was just so much easier to travel with a tour (cost about the same too). You can’t visit Chiapas and not check out this canyon. I was surprised though that it’s not being mantained too well. On rainy days you can literally see the trash/plastics accumulating in the water.

Comment: Great spot. Get a boat tour at one of the two embarcaderos or do a hiking tour via the vistas, starting at Beica. We had a pleasant boat tour, which features lovely waterfalls, cliffs and wildlife such as crocodiles, iguanas and monkeys. Recommended. Bring hat and sunscreen

Comment: Impeccable and a must see for everyone who visits here.

Yes close to the dam is a lot of trash- which is a society issue which needs to get attention ASAP!

You can’t skip this experience when coming to Chiapas
