Comment: I used Tibet Vista for a Lhasa trip (including rail travel bookings). The trip went well with most requests being accommodated without issues. The service and communication from the sales contact was good, and our local guide was excellent. Transport arrangements weren’t fantastic; transfers from the railway station were very cramped (4 people plus luggage in a small taxi) and the return transfer to the airport was 40 minutes late. But everything else was ‘as expected’ and as per their website. I would use Tibet Vista again.

Comment: Booked the 8D/7N Tibet + EBC tour, everything went well and it was a truly once in a lifetime experience. Great and prompt service from Derek Wong even though we had a last minute change of hotel the day before our arrival, he managed to rearrange the courier to ensure we receive our Tibet visa.

Comment: I booked a tour with this company and the communication through email was excellent, they guided me about the chinese visa and what to say to get it and also about train tickets from China. The tour was amazingly beautiful but also it is not for everybody, because the accommodations in the Everest base camp is very basic and it is a high altitude, which it will be the only choice to stay to be close to the Mt. Everest. The view points are very impressive as the Mt. Everest.
The guide was super patient and nice to every body in the tour. I really love it, even if is a bit tough the amount of hour on the road, but I am talking about my tour specifically from Lhasa to Nepal!
If you can go to Tibet, it is soooo worthy!

Comment: Tibet Vista Tiktok videos and pre sales person were very informative, and they readily respond in wechat whenever we have any queries. They also communicated pretty well in English hence we proceeded to sign up with them. We agreed on the 4D3N package and specifically stated the train number and train time we wanted. She told us that the train can only be booked 14 days before and we will only need to produce eticket for boarding.
Alas, the problems came a day before the train departure day where she sent us a photo of our train tickets. Thats when we realised that we were booked on a much later train with only one stop break. And her colleague would need to pass us the physical train tickets at the railway station 3hrs before as she needs to go home.. (Previously she mentioned that we just have to show Eticket?)
When we asked about the wrongly booked train, she showed me the terms n conditions of the contract.
Fair enough.. but what upset us was not respecting us by informing us in advance of not being able to get the train we wanted and the last minute change of time.
Suddenly she turned the tables around and became rude.
Her reply to us was :
it is not easy to book the train ticket in China. Other people who booked the tour one year earlier still take the Y971 train. (Previously she said that they can only booked 14days before departure?).
I am very busy now, dealing with the train tickets for other people, not only your problem.
Actually, Y971 has a better time schedule for the scenic view from Golmud to Lhasa (But previously she recommended Z8911?).

what do you want me to do? I have upgraded your hotel to Xinding hotel from Gang-Gyan hotel. (To be honest, Xinding hotel location was much further from town and room was very stuffy).
We happened to bunk in the soft sleeper room with 2 other people in the group, who said that they were also supposed to be booked on the 9.50pm Z8911 train and was also informed last minute when they arrived the train station at 6+pm.
Anyway, upon arrival, the 2 cars obviously couldn’t fit the group of more than 10 pax, hence they split us and our luggages in different cars, very messy.
Guide was ok, 4D3N package but was told there are only 2 full day tours city tours (arrival and departure day has nothing except transfers). The 2 days tour were pretty short, ended by 3+ 4+pm.
While chatting with other travellers in the group, they told us they paid USD180 each for the train and didn’t choose the train time; but yet they were being booked on the train we wanted at 9.50pm Z8911 train. So I do not understand why other travellers who didn’t choose the train time got the earlier train departure yet we didn’t get it when we specifically told her we wanted to depart on that train. Is it because we are being quoted cheaper USD135?
Pick up to the airport was super early at 6.15am though our flight was at 10+am. When asked, we were told that there is no choice as we are bunked with another lady whose flight is at 9am, thus we had 3hrs at the airport.
Overall, Communication and logistics could have been managed better.

Comment: Professional and dutiful travel agency. Great planning and coordination. Skip the queues and good planning. To say that i am 100% pleased, would be an over statement. Perhaps it is not entirely their fault, but meeting the needs of Tibetan Travel Bureau…and sometimes the long travel distances…All in all, satisfied since i am able to communicate in mandarin, otherwise it would be nose-led landing blind in Tibet.
