Comment: Car Ferry to Cozumel. Port is just south of Playa del Carmen at Calica. Dirt road in and parking area plus if your coming from PdC you have to cross traffic (Maybe they will connect with the over pass, that is meters away, eventually). We couldn’t get the reservation under 24hrs but a WhatsApp message (their contact info is at the bottom of their pages) provide a quick response that arriving 3 hours early would likely garner passage. It did. Follow the signs. One says reservations. So you should be able yo figure out the other. Ultracarga is also on the left, plus the bright yellow and blue is hard to miss. They have a system. Just Follow their hand directions (like any other good ferry team) and you’ll be fine. Getting off. Go left, across traffic again to get to the centre of Cozumel. Comfy seats and tables. Good outdoor area too. Hang onto your kids or pets as there are open railings that they could easily slip through, potentially dropping into the sea. Selection of food and drinks, basic but not over priced. Returning, make sure you are waiting in the correct parking area – it is NOT right at the dock. $1100 PESO for car, driver and 3 passengers. Needs a little tlc here and there but overall clean and efficient.

Comment: Easy to reach.. Fast online process for booking the tickets. Sadly, you have to wait 90 before boarding, but it’s enough to be there 60 min. earlier or even less

Comment: This cargo ferry is a but better than the Caribe ferry. Price was a bit more but overall faster process one-way. Boat is better maintained. Also has a snack bar and less comfortable bench seating.

Comment: Awesome car ferry experience from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel. Clean airoconditioned waiting area. Coffee, snacks and softdrinks available onboars. 400 mxn peso (20 USD) one-way. Well organized boarding. Clear jumbo sized next time ferry departure signs.

Comment: Made mistake when booked the ferry going to Cozumel from the mainland and they wouldn’t let me change it and wouldn’t give me my money back do not make reservations in advance for the fairies just drive there and go on the boat pay when you get there
