Comment: Conveniently located in the hotel zone (1 of 2 in the area). It was a bit unclear on the website but you can buy your tickets here in cash as well as online. There are additional taxes so the total was approx 670 pesos return. Nice waiting point and as they suggest get here at least 30 minutes before the ferry goes. I am sure the number of passengers increase’s through the day. Also note that returning to this ferry stop can be tricky from Isla Mujeres so if needed you can go to Tortuga and just take a local bus back for 12 pesos.

Comment: I purchased my round trip ticket online from ultramar and had zero issues. After reading the bad reviews I was worried so I went to check it out the day before I planned to head to Isla Mujeres. The staff answered all my questions and the process is straight forward. They were very friendly and I only needed to show my QR code from my online ticket to board the boat. I was not charged a dock fee leaving from caracol, however I did purchase a frozen drink from the restaurant that was there so I’m not sure if that had anything to do with that. When leaving Isla Mujeres I went to the wrong terminal and the Ultramar staff directed me to the right terminal without any issues. Both boats were clean and the AC worked great with plenty of seating available inside and outside. Maybe I got lucky ,but it seems like the bad reviews are uncalled for.

Comment: It’s very convenient to use their ferry transportation to Isla Mujeres from hotel zone. But it’s definitely over-priced given such a short distance and the staff is arrogant and show no respect to customers! Remember to print your itinerary if you bought the ticket online (they don’t accept copy on phones…).

Comment: If I could give this place a 0 I would.
DO NOT GO HERE!
It is very unreliable and they try to get you to park there for 300peso for the day. The hotel told us that it would be max 150 peso for the parking. Would instead recommend going to the Xcrate xailing up the road.
The guy then tried to make us park in a place that said no parking for 150 mxn. Just overall a dodgy experience. Avoid at all costs.

Comment: Do not use this service. You will come at 10:00am. Buy tickets for ferry for 11:15. It will come fully loaded and they will not let you in and tell you to board 12:30pm boat and you have to stay in line for 1 and half hour, doesn’t matter when you got tickets if you want to have a spot. There is no guarantee.
