Comment: This is a very busy, bustling terminal to and from Martha’s Vineyard. It felt like I was boarding a plane almost. It’s definitely the biggest ferry I have ridden to date but also the smoothest fairy ride I have even taken. There it very little to no boat sway. At one point, I didn’t even know we were moving. There are also very nice views and sights to see during this 45-minute trip. It was a beautiful day. There are many seats, booths, and areas to sit at. There are restrooms available as well.

Comment: Parked car and shuttle took us to the ferry terminal. There was no queue to buy tickets, then ushered straight to the ferry.
Crossing took approx 45 minutes.
Weather was rainy and water, choppy. However, crossing was very smooth

Comment: Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Know that parking is at Falmouth ice arena before traveling to the terminal and expecting to park.
The public parking is 8 miles away. They provide free buses back to the terminal. Expect to use the public busses on Martha vineyard. Be prepared to walk a lot. Takes an entire day to see all the sites and towns on the vineyard.

Comment: Shopping stores are nearby and Steamship provides free bus for transport ferry passengers between Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyards and other islands. Round trip costs $18 pp.
